21-Day Miracle Letter

Earnest Desire

When it is time for a chick to break out of its shell, it begins to tap. This is the signal for the mother hen to peck at the shell from the outside. The action of the chick combined with the external strength of the mother hen enables new life to be born.

Each of us nurtures a chick in our hearts. We call this chick desire. From deep within us, with all its strength, the chick tries to crack its shell to come into the world. At the same time our mother hen, the world around us, pecks with equal strength to help release this desire. As these two sources of strength collide, new insights are created.

When we possess an ardent wish in our hearts, events around us become like a mother hen, presenting opportunities and providing support, encouragement, and strength. These can be a line from a poem, a verse from a song, a chance meeting with a stranger. All of these collaborate, to help us give birth to our desires and make our dreams reality.

A Thanksgiving message from Dr. Ilchi Lee

I saw this on www.Ilchi.com.

A Thanksgiving Message from Ilchi Lee

This is the time of year when we naturally take stock of all the many blessings in our lives. This is a wonderful thing because genuine gratitude is a source of genuine peace.

I urge you to carry this spirit of Thanksgiving into every aspect of your life. It is always easy to be grateful for things that come without much effort, but you should be even more grateful for the difficult things in your life. Every hardship is a blessed opportunity for growth, a chance to discover who you really are inside. Of course, you should also cherish the simpler, more enjoyable things of life as they come to you. But, as you face larger hurdles, remember that great challenges only come to great souls, so be grateful for all these things, as well.

As you join with your family and friends to celebrate the bounty of your life, I want you to know that I and the entire staff of Ilchi.com also feel profound gratitude for your participation in our online community. You are indeed a blessing, for it is from you that the seeds of peace and happiness will grow in the upcoming year.

Thank you and have a joyful Thanksgiving.

First time smiling

Today during an open class a member who is always very serious in class raised her hand to share. She said that she really enjoyed the class and that the first time in a very long time, she actually smiled – twice! I can’t imagine going years without smiling. But how great it must have felt to be able to smile again!

Ilchi Lee: Focus on Yourself

Here’s a great piece of wisdom from ilchi.com

From a translation of Ilchi Lee’s book The Power of the Brain

Without a goal, we have no choice but to endlessly chase after the thoughts of others. We envy those who know more or have more than we do, and we live out our lives completely forgetting our own brains. Such things happen to us often unless we are focused on ourselves.

Sharing from Tao Holistic Healing Program

Here is a great sharing from a member who recently attended the Tao Holistic Healing Program:

I came here with a lot of physical problems asthma allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux disease, acne, and migraine headaches. I was taking medication for all these conditions.

My goal was to relieve my asthma symptoms since that was the most serious condition and to possibly reduce some of the medication I have been taking.

The Tao Holistic Healing Program was a life changing experience for me. I came here primarily to relieve my asthma symptoms but the program did so much more for me than that. I learned that my real issue is my intestines and not my lungs and that both fear and resistance have influenced my body condition. I am determined now more than ever to continue using the skills I have learned to heal my body. I am so grateful to the staff for pushing me past my limits both physically and mentally. They have all given me such hope for my future. Thanks to everyone.
