An MBA could be a great addition to one's resume
Many individuals are eager to advance their education in order to achieve personal growth. As a result, schools are having to increase their offerings to meet the needs of all prospective students.
Georgia Southern University (GSU) announced that it would be launching its first executive master's of business administration (MBA) program this fall, according to the George-Ann Daily. This program will be geared toward individuals who are looking to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor, as the courses could help them learn how to become leaders.
Although the school already offers a number of virtual degree programs, academic officials wanted to increase their offerings to specific prospective students.
"The program was approved in April and all of May we worked on its operations and the structure," Melissa Holland, director of MBA programs for the College of Business Administration, told the news provider. "Now we are starting to actually market to the target audience."
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, people who have an MBA degree make up to $234 more per week than people with bachelor's degrees.
