I am the new marketing director for Pura Vida Costa Rica, Maya Tulum and Dahlonega Spa Resort, three internationally recognized yoga retreat centers owned by R&R Resorts, which is headquartered here in the Atlanta area. It would be my pleasure to hand deliver group retreat information to your studio and to assist you in the development and marketing of weekend retreats here in Georgia, as well as group retreats at our wellness resorts in Costa Rica and Mexico. Our first property, Maya Tulum was one of the first, if not the first, yoga and wellness resorts in the Western World, and was founded more than 30 years ago on the gorgeous Yucatan Peninsula near the Mayan ruins of Tulum in the Mexican Caribbean. Our second resort, Pura Vida sits atop a rain forest mountain at 4900 feet above sea level just 8 degrees north of the equator, and is a short 20 minute ride from San Jose International Airport (it is easier to venture here than it is to Los Angeles!). Right now it is Costa Rica's 'Green Season' - their seasons are opposite ours and temperatures range from a cool 50 degrees in the evening to not more than 80 during the day....a wonderful escape from our sweltering hot Georgia summers! The newest addition to our lineup, Dahlonega Spa Resort is a quick 100 miles up Georgia 400 on dozens of rolling mountain meadow acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in an area boasting dozens of breathtaking waterfalls. All three of our properties have spectacular settings, outstanding yoga halls, delicious spa cuisine (primarily vegetarian with fish and chicken for those who choose) and some of the most gifted healers in the business on our spa staff to serve your students during the retreat. We also have longstanding relationships with many local guides and outfitters, and are able to assist you in creating an extensive retreat experience with mountain hikes, white water rafting, volcano tours, and the likes to ensure that you have strong attendance to your retreats. For now I am attaching pdfs of the group rates to all three of our properties. I would be glad to check availability for you and put together a custom quote based on what type of attendance you would expect for the size of your student body. With 30 years in the business, we are also able to provide solid advice on marketing the retreat to your students and community. Retreats have proven for many of our customers to be their strongest brand builder and revenue driver. You are able to set your commission rates, will receive your room and board non gratis with a minimum of 10 rooms, and if you make retreats an annual or bi-annual part of your teaching experience for your students, you will increase your profits over the long term.
